Postcard Press Picks:
Postcard Press – New Year, New Look

It’s been almost two years since postcardpress.org went live as part of a class project. This website was the culmination of two years spent developing and growing the idea to create a cultural tourism press and help to fill a hole in this travel niche. It was only a few months later that we officially launched Postcard Press as a real website aimed at expanding cultural horizons, feeding your wanderlust, and educating travelers. And, this week, Postcard Press is the subject of a special Postcard Press Picks.

If you’re reading this article, then you’ve probably figured out why we’re featuring ourselves. At the official beginning of our second year in October, we decided it was time for a fresh, more user-friendly look and a refined menu that reflects our evolving and expanding content.

In addition to the new look, we’ve recategorized our content by type and region, so that you can easily find what you are looking for or discover something you didn’t know you needed. We’ve also updated our Meet the Team page as well as our Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions, so that you can learn more about us and what we stand for. And, in the coming months, you’ll notice some new features, such as article spotlights, access to our previous newsletters, and more.

Our central mission and vision have not changed. If you love traveling and learning about the world around you, and you want to be a part of that world, then Postcard Press is the place for you. We are committed to turning tourists into travelers and bringing the world to our readers by publishing content and sharing experiences to inspire wanderlust, even if they never leave their homes.

We’re excited to recommit to this press and continue the journey, and are so happy you’ve joined us! We have plans to grow in the near future too; so, be on the lookout in the coming months for information on how you can submit your own content to Postcard Press and help us grow into a community of respectful, educated travelers.

Thank you for your support over the last couple of years. We look forward to many more!

What do you think of the new website? It there anything you think we’re missing?
We’d love to hear from you! Let us know your feedback and if there is any content you would like to see more of in the comments below or by email at postcardpressorg@gmail.com.
