Postcards from our Travelers:
Anegada, British Virgin Islands
Sam had the pleasure of visiting Anegada, British Virgin Islands. It was only for a few hours but it was worth it.
Postcard text:
I only got to spend a few hours on Anegada, the northernmost island in the British Virgin Islands, but that’s all it took to become my favorite place in the BVI. Unlike other islands and beaches on the islands, Anegada provides visitors with a calm and relaxing environment for a more low-key vacation. The island is also home to Horseshoe Reef, the largest coral reef in the Caribbean. I got to visit the island for my family’s New Year’s Eve dinner back in 2014. Anegada is home to some of the best grilled lobster you’ll ever eat (so good, one family stole scraps off another patron’s plate once after they left). And, if you’re lucky, you can catch a glimpse of the most popular locals—the flamingos!
